  1. International Albinism Awareness Day is annually observed on 13 June to create awareness about a genetic skin condition called Albinism, and promote the rights and regulations of Albinism on a global level. The theme of International Albinism Awareness Day 2023 is “Inclusion is Strength”.
  2. Uruguay beat Italy 1-0 on 11 June 2023, to win its first Under-20 World Cup title held in Argentina. 
  3. The Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India, Shri Girish Chandra Murmu, held the position of Chair of the Supreme Audit Institutions-20 (SAI20) Engagement Group during India’s G20 Presidency.
  4. India topped the chart with 15 medals, including six gold, six silver, and three bronze medals of the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany.

  10. The insurance regulator of India has recently released a directive to all insurers operating in the country to establish unique 14-digit identifiers, known as Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) IDs, for all individuals residing within India.

  16. The Government of India and the Asian Development Bank (ADB) have signed a $130 million loan agreement to support initiatives aimed at increasing agricultural productivity, improving irrigation access, and promoting horticulture agribusinesses in Himachal Pradesh.
